Holger Matthies
Born in Hamburg. Apprenticeship of color-lithograph from 1957 to ’61. In 1961 and ’62 studied at the Works School of Art. From 1962 to ’66, attended University of Formative Art in Hamburg. Worked since 1966 as freelance Graphic Designer. In 1969/70 and 1984/84 he was guest professor at Hamburg University of Design. He served as judge at the International Poster Biennale in Warsaw, Lahti, Colorado and Toyama.
